Day 120

Gromit had a long, ruff morning at the harbor this morning. He lost one toy, "bye water wooba", but gained another...yeah, the orange thing with the stinky rope attached to it...

Day 119

Gromit found the squeaky ball again. Seriously, I need to get rid of this thing, it is going to drive me nuts. Although, there is something to be said for the humor that seems to flow from Gromit and the Squeaky Ball. I bet you can't do this!

Day 118

An early morning romp with Grom's buddies down at the harbor. It was cold out. The dogs ran and ran and ran, then they found a dead seal and rolled in it. Then they stunk, stunk, stunk! It was bath time when we got home. A really nice long nap, and then it was time for pouncing. Here is Gromit's "look" just before he pounces. Notice, wont look directly at you, ears are back and up, overall goofy look in his face...

Day 117

It was a horribly rainy day, cold windy yucky, but that was OK. We had to go to the office and Gromit played with his daycare buddies all day. He is always so exhausted when he gets home. I was trying to get a picture of him sleeping, but I guess I was just bugging him too much.

Day 116

I have fallen behind, so now I am trying to catch up!!!
Gromit found his squeaky ball again. It is funny how distorted his face can get.

Day 115

What a crazy day. The weather was beautiful. Sunny, warm...too warm for Gromit. I spent most of my afternoon at Dream Machines, talking, photographing, overall having a great time. Gromit stayed home with dad... It was really too toasty out from Grom. This is what he looked like about 30 minutes after I got home.

Day 114

What a beautiful morning. I decided that I would take Grom to the harbor this morning. It was 7:45 when we got there and me played (me throwing the floating wooba) for a bit. What great light! Then we walked down to the cove, and theat is where we met Haley the white boxer and her friend Max. They all played for a while, then Haley and Max had to leave. We walked down a bit further and met up with two other young dogs, and played chase there for a while. Then, along came team Greyhound. 4 of them. Awesome. Grom would try to keep up! Anyway, here is today's photo taken while playing with the wooba...

Day 113

A very busy day today. We went for a hike in the morning with a really good friend and her pack, then a little field romp. Tim made it home around 4 and he and a buddy of his took Grom for a nice long beach run. Here is a photo from the midday field romp.

Day 112

After spending what seemed like an eternity trying to get my internet to function properly, I just shut everything down and we all went to sleep. This morning everything seems to be functioning fine. Anyway, Gromit and I went for a field romp yesterday afternoon. He likes to find theses patches of grass, and then either just sits down and stares out or lays down so you can't see him. What a goofy boy.

Day 111

Playing with light this afternoon. It was much too cold and soooo windy, I just couldn't stand being outside for very long. Gromit didn't care much for it either. So, we played inside. We were working on lighting and the wait command.

Day 110

A busy office day. Gromit met yet another Boxer dog today. Two of his young energetic friends were up at the office today. They were all busy. He was sooooo tired when we got home, this is what I saw. I just love those leathery lips!!!

Day 109

Today we went down to the harbor and Gromit met a new friend. Her name was Tallulah and she was a 4 year old brindle boxer. Gromit had so much fun playing fetch and pushing the ball down into the water. He really likes the water. Someday he will swim...someday!

Day 108

An absolutely beautiful day here on the coast. Blue skies, light breeze, just a bit warm outside for Gromit to play much, so I set up some lights, and played inside. Then we went out to lay in the sun. Then we came in and did a few more photos, then back outside to lay in the sun, then back in, then back out...

Day 107

Today it is quite humid outside. Makes for a bit of a warm day, which I like, but Gromit prefers the mid 60's . We went out for a morning romp. Gromit ran straight for his watering hole. He just loves his pond. He loves pulling sticks off the bottom, fetching things as long as they don't go into the deep part. He still won't swim, but he loves the water!

Day 106

The day started off great. A nice long walk with our buddies, then homeThe computer was running slow, I was running behind...Gromit was lounging.

Day 105

I just couldn't help myself today, I had to pull out the bubbles and go for it. I laughed so hard yesterday, and Gromit really loves to chase the darn things...so I asked my neighbor if she could spare a few minutes to be the bubble blower as I try to focus on the Grom...

Day 104

Today was a busy day, we went for a nice long walk with a couple of our buddies, from Miramar up to the harbor and back. Then home for breakfast. Grommie was exhausted and laying out in the sun was the second item on his list after breakfast. Funny, I tried to take a few pictures of him napping, but then he was all in my face with his toys, to I grabbed my secret weapon...bubbles. I laughed so hard!

Day 103

I just can't believe that I have taken this many photos of one dog in a row, every day, rain or shine, inside or out...and I don't get the same expression twice. I just don't understand it, but it is fun, and Gromit really makes me laugh!

Day 102

The weather was just bizarre today. Pouring rain, hail, sunshine, windy, calm...the only thing we didn't get here is snow! Thank goodness! In between the madness, Tim, Grom and I made it out for a morning romp. It seems as though I have a lot of pictures of Gromit running, sleeping and sitting. Funny thing is, Gromit really seems to like to sit. Sit and watch things around him. Today we made it to the top of the hill and plop, down he sat, funky curl to his lip and all. Reminded me of the King on Shrek looking over his kingdom...hehehehe!

Day 101

It was a very dark and rainy day today, probably over an inch of rain so far. We were able to go out for a quick run this morning and sneak another in this afternoon, but most of the time was spent indoors. At one point Gromit found his squeeeeekkkky ball and that went on for about half an hour.

Day 99

Day 99 already, it seems as though we just started this project. Wow... Today was a really nice warm day. Almost too warm for Gromit, but all I have to do is turn the hose on with the shower selected and he just loves to drink off the hose. It is really funny to watch, not so easy to photograph while holding the hose....

Day 98

Today it was sunny, windy and cold. The important part was that is was sunny! I love that! Gromit and I had a busy day. We went walking and hiking with a bunch of our buddies, and then came home and hung out. When it was time for our late afternoon romp, it was just the two of us, so I grabbed the camera and out we went. I took quite a few photos, the colors were awesome, and Grom looked so good! When we got home, well, after plucking 17 or so ticks off of him - yuk...

Day 97

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the breeze was crisp, a nice walk to the harbor and back with some friends, then I picked up a new book, sat outside and read while Gromit played with one of his new found toys...

I feel like I am falling behind, and am trying so hard to catch up. Oh how I wish I had my puppy dogs life....How peaceful when he sleeps all of those wrinkles and wiskers....

I am finally getting a chance to post this...Super busy yesterday! Don't know why that happens, but it does. Grommie spent his morning hanging out with some friends while I took a little sweetie out for a few hours. We had soooo much fun! But back to mom she went, time for a nap, and Grom had to come home and we had some work to do before the car show...run, run, run. Here is Grom hanging out at the car show.
